Crib Safety
To avoid SIDS always place your baby on his/her back.
Use only a fitted bottom sheet specifically made for crib use.
Pillows, stuffed animals or thick comforters should not be placed in infants crib. This could cause an infant to suffocate.
Secure bumper pads around the entire crib. Tie pads in all four corners on both top and bottom and in the middle of each long side. There should be at least six safety straps to ensure a tight fit. Always cut off any excess string length.
For Safety reasons diaper bags and crib caddies should not be tied onto the crib. A child could become caught and strangle. Always cut off excess string length.
Baby Bracelets Caution:
Small pieces can cause choking: Always be aware that baby does not put bracelet in mouth and that pieces (charms and clasps) are secure on bracelet.
Pip Squeakers
IMPORTANT NOTE: All our squeakers are glued into the sole. When squeakers are taken out and put back in, often, the rubbery friction disappears. Once this happens, the squeakers will pop out on their own, presenting a potential choking hazard. Whenever buying squeaky shoes, always insist on glued in squeakers.
